  • Nurture Human Nature functions from the understanding that our bodies hold innate wisdom. Looking and listening to the physiology gives us a clear road map to what type of care is necessary for thriving human life for mother, baby, families, and communities. Our bodies are the sacred container that allow the transformation of motherhood to unfold. Nurture Human Nature not only incorporates practices based on physiologic needs but also needs that serve our minds and spirits. A holistic approach to honor you during your rite of passage into Motherhood—for the first or 10th time..

    When becoming a mother, we are leaving our old selves behind and are too newly born as mothers. This is a tender time of transformation and unknown as we integrate who we are becoming. It would be an honor for me to witness and support you on your journey in motherhood.

  • Innate Postpartum Care Practitioner training is different from potpartu doula training in that it looks to traditional postpartum care practices from across the world to remember how we used to tend to mothers after birth when we were still living in traditional ways of life. These teachings are also woven into in-depth study of the physiology of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum to help guide us in understanding why this tending is essential for thriving human life.

    Innate Postpartum Care Practitioner training is 18 months in length and provides on-going support and resources to the trained practitioners across the globe.

  • Most indigenous traditions regard the postpartum period as a sacred time for mother to heal, bond with her baby, and integrate the experience of pregnancy and birth so that she can harvest her newly acquired insights and gifts and infuse them into her role as mother, into her family, and into her community.

    The common thread that all of these traditions have is that they are mother centered. As a mother, you hold so much. You are the container. The postpartum time/ sacred window serves as a time of rest to replenish after all the hard work a mother has done bringing life into the world.

  • This is a case-by-case basis. I recommend people come for a session anywhere from weekly, bi-weekly, to monthly.

    It depends on the intentions and goals of the client. We can form a treatment plan together that meets your needs.

  • Insurance does not currently cover craniosacral sessions.

  • Yes! Craniosacral therapy works directly with the nervous system to support with finding a way back to coherence.
